A Local Liaison Group (LLG) for KGSP was set up in 2021, providing a forum for two-way dialogue between the project team and the community during the construction period. The LLG meets quarterly and is made up of local elected and community representatives.

We have put in place an Interim Community Environmental Fund to cover the initial site entrance construction works and preparation period of the project. The fund will be expanded in the future when the main plant is constructed. The initial fund will be £10,000 with an application period open from 1st April 2022 through to the end of December 2023.
